About The Phone Helper

Buying a phone shouldn’t feel like a test. Carrier websites are full of fine print, and store visits can feel rushed. We started The Phone Helper to explain phones and plans the way a patient friend would: slowly, simply, and without pressure.

What we do

We compare phones and plans from the major carriers and describe them in everyday language. When you find something you like, we send you to the carrier’s own website to buy it at their regular price.

We also make free, step-by-step guides and videos for everyday tasks, like making the text bigger, sending a photo, video-calling family, and spotting scam calls.

Who we’re for

Everyone is welcome, but we especially have older adults in mind, along with the family members who help them choose and set up a phone.

How we stay free
